Sumitra Mala, who lives in Palubari, Nepal, holds her 10 month old son. During the earthquake she jumped from the window of her home to reach safety. "The house was shaking violently and things were falling all around. I could hear the walls cracking. People screamed at me to jump." Sumitra works as a nursery school teacher in the village school, teaching maths and english. "I love playing with the kids but they can be a tough bunch to handle too."
